The Maui County Hawaiian Canoe Association
(MCHCA)
was formed for the purposes of engaging in charitable, educational, cultural and recreational activities associated with Hawai'ian canoeing, including the promotion of outrigger canoe racing and the construction and preservation of authentic Hawai'ian Koa canoes.
